I've been refreshing the look of the showcase on Stocksy, and it now features an autumn vibe. After 7 years of successfully avoiding the autumn and winter seasons with all my heart, with the move to Canada last year, I’m finally ready and excited to embrace it in my photography. I can’t wait to share more seasonal images with you all. There will be more coming as I now split my year between Europe, Canada, and South America.
But let's dig into the autumn vibe for now, as it's been the focus of my stock photography sessions: hours and hours of selecting, editing and metadata for the past few months.

My portfolio on Stocksy has grown significantly over the years. I’ve paid close attention to the editing processes to ensure that each image is catchy and vibrant while maintaining authenticity. My focus has always been on reportage and documentary-style photography, capturing real-life moments in their truest form. In a world saturated with generic imagery, the quest for authenticity has become more paramount than ever. Stocksy stands out as a beacon of genuine storytelling, where each photograph encapsulates a unique narrative waiting to unfold. As a stock photographer myself, I have come to appreciate the value of capturing real moments that resonate with audiences on a profound level.
One of the highlights is seeing one of my pictures featured on Stocksy's curated homepage. This particular image holds a special place in my heart. It’s a candid shot of Robbie, my lovely boyfriend, taken at one of our friends’ weddings in Lisbon a few years back. Robbie, being his funny and natural self, is doing what he loves most: eating! His joy and the vibrant atmosphere of that day are beautifully encapsulated in that photo.
After consistently working on this archive for the past 3 years, it's become more and more fascinating to see the process and the visual identity of my work all at once. So why not take some extra time to curate my presence on the site both as a personal album and a work-in-progress digital personal exhibition? It’s a place to showcase my favourite moments and top shots from travels, life, and people I love. Having a place like Stocksy where all my photo memories from the past years live is truly special. It's not just a portfolio; it's a visual diary that captures the essence of various moments and experiences.
One of the most remarkable aspects of stock photography is its ability to unveil untold stories and evoke a myriad of emotions. Recently, some of these pictures have gained recognition in various contests. One of my photos even made it to the cover of a fanzine based in Ottawa, DIFTG. Another was selected for their 5-year celebration edition and exhibition at Arlington 5 in Ottawa. These achievements are incredibly gratifying and motivate me to keep pushing the boundaries of my craft.
